The seminary was founded in 1998 by [[Noé Acosta]] and his wife [[Mimi Acosta]]. Acosta was formerly a [[Roman Catholic]] candidate for the priesthood, and was later saved and came to a biblical and Reformed understanding of the Christian faith.
