ReformedWiki's policies and guidelines are pages that serve to document the acceptable practices in the ReformedWiki community. The policies and guidelines are currently developed and enforced by the Board of Administrators.

Policies

  1. Articles should be relevant to (or connected to) Reformed Christianity (see Reformed Christianity), and be written factually/objectively, from the broadly Reformed Christian perspective. Articles about other subjects can also be written, so long as such is written from a broadly Reformed Christian perspective, and should
  2. Articles with media can not contain imagery that is sexually explicit or depicting God (see Images as Second Commandment violations).
  3. Articles should have sources cited for the information presented, if available.
  4. Articles should not contain copyrighted content (see ReformedWiki.org:General_disclaimer#Trademarks & Intellectual Property).
  5. Articles should be in the same language as the wiki it is published on. If any other language words/phrases/quotations are used as within an article than that of the home wiki's language, such should be properly identified.
    1. Note: ReformedWiki.org is currently operating as an English language wiki (and will always be on the main wiki domain), but there may be other language-specific wikis on a ReformedWiki.org subdomain that may be released in the future.
  6. Articles that are non-coherent or contain spam/scam will be deleted.
  7. Uploaded files should be assigned the correct copyright and licensing information, and the appropriate permission must be obtained for any files that are under any copyright restriction). Copyrighted material uploaded without first obtaining (and properly documenting) licensing/permissions will be subject to removal. (Note: Please email [email protected] for any intellectual property concerns.)

Guidelines

  1. Users should consider referencing existing Wikipedia.org articles for content and naming conventions.
  2. For article titles that can be contested or misleading, users should consider creating redirects on the article to a disambiguation page that lists all of the articles that might would be searched for.
  3. Users should consider adding identifier in parenthesis at the end of an article title to differentiate the article from an article of a shared title.
