The Book of Obadiah is a brief prophetic text written by the Prophet Obadiah that serves as a demonstration of God's judgment against Edom for its hostility towards Israel.
It is the shortest book in the Old Testament and the fourth shortest book in the whole Bible after the Epistle to Philemon and the Second and Third Epistles of John.
