All registered accounts are subject to having their account limited/suspended or banned from participating on this wiki by a member of the Administrators team (or a member of another body that has been delegated user management responsibilities by the Administrators team); and such administrative actions may be done at the sole discretion of an Administrator (or their delegate), with or without any prior-warning or any reason given.

Administrators on this wiki

Administrators on this wiki hold a membership seat on the ReformedWiki.org's Board of Administrators. All Board Members have voting powers and can cast votes on matters that the Board votes on (except in certain cases, where existing voting procedures determines that such the Board Member is required to abstain).

There are currently three (3) Administrators, and the current membership for the Board of Administrators of ReformedWiki.org includes:

Board Member Applications: Applications to join the Board of Administrators may be submitted using the following online form: https://admin.ReformedWiki.org

Notice: The current number of Board Members (5) is currently at or below the minimum, which currently set to seven ("7") members.

The Administrators of ReformedWiki.org serve to fulfill one or more of the following duties:

  • Participate as a Board Member on the Board of Administrators.
  • Managing the web hosting of the site to ensure the stability, reliability, and accessibility of ReformedWiki.
  • Managing the backend of the Wiki system, and ensure that system configurations are correct and optimized for the purposes of ReformedWiki.
  • Managing the users and user groups of ReformedWiki, and ensure appropriate permissions and enforce the policies of ReformedWiki.
  • Manage the protections over content that should be restricted, if such is at higher risk of vandalism (in cases of divisive or contested content, or if such content is serving an official purpose for ReformedWiki.org).
  • Make fair and reasonable judgements over ReformedWiki.org's content (in cases of disputes that require intervening arbitration) as an individual Administrator or by contributing a vote to collective decisions that are made by the Board.
  • Managing the promotion/marketing/outreach efforts of ReformedWiki to individuals and organizations alike.
  • Managing the Editor/Contributor communities in order to promote the collaboration efforts of ReformedWiki users.

The Administrators of ReformedWiki.org are also required to:

  • Hold church membership in and remain accountable to a local Christian church body, and be under the pastoral care/oversight of such body.
Additionally, such a local church shall be be a doctrinally sound Christian church; and any such dispute over such will be decided by a simple majority vote of the Board of Administrators (following a due diligence review). Only a member of either the Board of Administrators or by a member of the Community Advisory Committee may bring forth the dispute to be voted on. In cases where such a local Christian church is dissolved or the Board Member leaves, the Board Member shall promptly inform the Board of Administrators and also begin the process of transferring membership to another local Christian church. The member shall keep the Board of Administrators informed of such progress. If the Board of Administrators is not satisfied with such progress, a Board Member may motion to begin the process to remove the Board Member (no second required). If the Board Member holds an officer position on the Board, an election must also occur to prevent a vacancy.
  • Affirm and subscribe to (in good conscience) an acceptable historically reformed confession of faith, which currently includes:
    • (1560) Scots Confession
    • (1561) Belgic Confession of Faith

    • (1658) Savoy Declaration
    • (1689) Second London Baptist Confession of Faith
    • (1742) Philadelphia Confession of Faith
    • (1833) New Hampshire Confession of Faith
The Board of Administrators, by a simple majority vote, may approve an applicant who affirms and subscribes to a confession of faith that is not listed -or- is an Anglican applicant that holds to the 39 Articles of Religion. If the Board of Administrators approves an applicant who holds to a confession of faith that is not listed, the above list of acceptable confessions shall be updated to include such document.
  • Possess enough basic knowledge for and is capable of utilizing the wiki information system platform that ReformedWiki.org uses.
  • Possess a notable/reputable background or leadership role in and/or educational credentials within the Reformed Christian faith tradition or community.

Notice: All or some of these above provisions may not be enforceable, if the Board of Administrators (see list of members above) is at or below the minimum number of Members (which is currently set to seven ("7") members). If the Board's membership is at or below the minimum number of members, the Administrators shall work towards electing new members to the Board of Administrators.
