Cessationism

Cessationism is a theological doctrine which affirms the ceasing of certain miraculous spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit; specifically the gifts of Healing, Prophecy, and the speaking (and interpretation) of Tongues (such gifts that stood as signs of an Apostle).
