First Apology of Justin Martyr

The First Apology of Justin Martyr is one of the earliest Christian writings defending the faith, written around AD 155–157 by the Church Father, Justin Martyr, to address Emperor Antoninus Pius, his sons, and the Roman Senate. It is a cornerstone of Christian apologetics, offering a defense of Christianity against accusations of atheism, immorality, and disloyalty to the Roman Empire. Justin Martyr appeals for justice and fair treatment for Christians, arguing that their beliefs and practices are not threats to Roman society but are instead rooted in truth, reason, and moral integrity.
