International Council on Biblical Inerrancy

International Council on Biblical Inerrancy (abbreviated as ICBI) was an Evangelical organization (1977-1989) that held three summits in Chicago, each producing published three statements:

• Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy
• Chicago Statement on Biblical Hermeneutics
• Chicago Statement on Biblical Application

The organization was dissolved in 1989, and one of the last actions it took was to transfer all records to the Library of Dallas Theological Seminary for archival preservation.
