A Tag Group or Facebook Tag Group is a Facebook group that is used primarily for tagging purposes on other posts or comment threads on Facebook. Tag groups usually are a pre-formatted response (and is done often for humorous purposes). Tag groups are often created when the same kind of response is issued by a commenter frequently, and is widely used due the nature of being able to quickly select the group from the Facebook tagging drop-down menu (after typing the group's name, following an "@" symbol).

In December 2020, the Saint Steven Anderson (parody account) created the brand Tag Group Coalition (which itself is a parody of The Gospel Coalition). The Facebook page for the Tag Group Coalition was used to link many Facebook groups under one brand. Some of the groups were pre-existing, and joined into the TGC umbrella; while others were created by the page itself.
