Resurrection of Jesus
From ReformedWiki.org
The Resurrection of Jesus refers to the story of Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead following his crucifixion at the hands of Roman Authorities in cohorts with the Pharisees.
Having spent 3 days dead and laid to rest in "a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre" (Mark 15:46), his resurrection was first known by Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Salome, who bought spices to anoint Jesus body. He then appeared to two followers outside Jerusalem, and then to the eleven remaining Apostles, commissioning them to spread "the good news" (often referred to as "The Great Commission")
