Optimism in cosmology

From ReformedWiki.org
Augustine of Hippo affirmed an optimist cosmology

Optimism in cosmology refers to the idea that the universe is fundamentally good and shaped by positive, harmonious forces or principles. These forces are often seen as representing order, harmony, spiritual fulfilment, and the inherent goodness of creation. Optimism posits that, despite challenges or suffering, the universe is ultimately moving toward a positive end, guided by a divine or cosmic plan that ensures goodness will prevail in the end.

Optimism is a central message in Christianity and Islam, which both teach that despite the sufferings and evils of the world, God is planning to redeem creation and return it back to it's Edenic form (Romans 8:21, Ephesians 1:10 / Surah 9:51, Surah 67:15).
