THE COMMUNITIY ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF REFORMEDWIKI.ORG

About the Community Advisory Committee

The Community Advisory Committee (or simply Advisory Committee) of ReformedWiki.org is the highest-level advisory committee that makes formal recommendations to the Board of Administrators.

Formal recommendations made by the committee can either be strictly advisory in nature (with no response or vote required), or are formal recommendations that would require a decision to be made by the Board of Administrators (by a simple majority vote), and requires a formal response to be issued in return.

Formal responses from the Board of Directors would indicate the outcome of the Board's decision, or a decision that the matter is tabled (for either a definite future time or indefinitely).

Members of the the Advisory Committee may (as an individual or group of individuals) also make informal recommendations to the Board of Administrators. Information recommendations can be made at-will by Advisory Committee members, without a vote of the Advisory Committee. However, information recommendations do not necessarily require a formal response from the Board of Administrators, or require the Board of Administrators to vote on a matter.

The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to streamline valuable input from key stakeholders in the greater Reformed Christian community to the direction and operation of ReformedWiki.org. The Board of Administrators primarily consist of those who are technically-capable individuals (that are from various Confessionally Reformed traditions) who are able to effectively manage the ReformedWiki.org Wiki System.

Appointments/Elections of Advisory Committee Members

The Board of Administrators shall make and approve appointments to install members to the Advisory Committee. The Board of Administrators may also vote on approving appointments that made by a formal recommendation from the Advisory Committee itself.
